2023 CALENDAR OF EVENTS
SESSIONS BEGIN AT 6:30 PM

To get our new members up to speed and as a refresher course for veterans, this session will feature a crash course in the types of scotch whisky, how they're made, and what makes them different.
GROUP 1…TUES, JAN 24
GROUP 2…TUES, JAN 31
We'll sample bottles from Deageo's Distiller's Edition Series: cask-finished limited releases of Dalwhinnie, Talisker, Glenkinchie, Oban, and Cragganmore — plus a World Whisky Distiller's Edition.
GROUP 1…TUES, MAR 21
GROUP 2…TUES, MAR 14
There's a little bit of science and a whole lot of art involved in creating the unique flavors found in fine blended scotch, and we'll explore how the Master Blenders achieve this complicated process.
GROUP 1…TUES, MAY 9
GROUP 2…TUES, MAY 23
A new theme for 2023! Not every session has to adhere to a strict theme. At this event, we'll be featuring a lineup of bottles chosen because they are interesting, unique, or just plain fun in some manner.
GROUP 1…TUES, AUG 1
GROUP 2…TUES, JULY 11
We'll compare pairs of bottles of the same age in a head-to-head battle, one relatively more expensive than the other, and then decide if we think the more pricey one is worth the extra cost.
GROUP 1…TUES, SEPT 12
GROUP 2…TUES, SEPT 19
SESSION THEMES SUBJECT TO CHANGE DUE TO SCOTCH AVAILABILITY

One of the bottles at regular sessions will hail from somewhere in the world other than Scotland! More and more countries are getting into the whisky game, and it should be fun to explore some of these interesting and exotic bottles.

We'll offer optional Bonus Sessions throughout the season for those who wish to attend, in addition to the club's regular five-session schedule. Examples might be: Putting on the Ritz, featuring a very pricey lineup of premium bottles, Peatstock, our annual groovy exploration of heavily-peated scotch, and the Chocolate Fest, our delicious pairing of fine whisky and hand-crafted artisan chocolates.
