Cropped Tobias & the Angel 1.jpg

COMPASS BOX

TOBIAS & THE ANGEL

ORIGINAL PRICE UPON 2019 RELEASE:

Approximately $500

This extremely limited edition (only 2,634 bottles were released) is a marriage of some seriously aged scotches —  24 year old Clynelish and 34 year old Caol Ila. Current secondary market listings often range in the $600–$1,000-plus range, putting it firmly in the category of “bottles collectors hesitate to open”—and making every pour at our event seem truly special.

ADJUSTED Craigellachie 3.jpeg

CRAIGELLACHIE
23 YEAR OLD

ORIGINAL PRICE UPON 2018 RELEASE:

Approximately $300

Debuted just above $300 as the flagship of the distillery’s “Last Great Malts” range, representing a rich and mature Speyside from a site that still leans on traditional whisky production methods. Unavailable for many years, the 23 Year Old has been restored to the distillery's core range, but is available only sporadically in the $300-$350 price range, and is apparently not sold in Missouri.

Cropped Highland Park The Dark and The Light.jpg

HIGHLAND PARK 17 YEAR OLD
"THE DARK & THE LIGHT"

ORIGINAL PRICE UPON 2017 RELEASE: Approximately $300 Each

Tasting both The Dark and The Light at the same event is a pairing most whisky fans would never experience. The Dark was released in late 2017 as the Winter expression in Highland Park’s "Seasons Series." Its companion The Light followed in Spring 2018, providing an interesting exploration of the distillery's flavors. These limited-release bottles featured upscale wooden packaging and have not been available in Missouri for some time, making this side-by-side comparison an intriguing opportunity.

Cropped Strathmill 3.jpg

STRATHMILL 25 YEAR OLD SPECIAL RELEASE

ORIGINAL PRICE UPON 2014 RELEASE:

Approximately $400

This Special Release was issued in 2014 at roughly $400–$450, offering a rare official glimpse of the rarely-released Strathmill after 25 years in refill American oak casks. With only 2,700 bottles released worldwide, its value has risen and its availability has narrowed—turning this tasting into a rare chance to experience this lesser-known distillery’s refined, malt‑forward elegance.

Cropped Delilah's 2.jpg

COMPASS BOX DELILAH’S XXV ANNIVERSARY

ORIGINAL PRICE UPON 2018 RELEASE:

Approximately $100

Bottled just once in 2018 for the famous Chicago bar’s 25th anniversary at about $100, blending whisky from the original Delilah’s release with sherried malts and grain for a rich, bar‑friendly profile. Its limited 8,520‑bottle production and commemorative story have pushed current prices closer to $200–$270, transforming it into a highly sought‑after collectible.

Sample a Lineup Valued at Approximately $1,900 Upon Initial Release.
This Special Event is Open to Club Members and Non-Members.
