Indulge your passion for whisky by joining Drummond MacDougall's Single Malt Society. You'll experience exclusive tastings, engage with a friendly community of fellow enthusiasts, and deepen your knowledge of this ever-fascinating age-old spirit.
And don't worry if you don't know much about scotch. The Society welcomes new members with open arms, and our ongoing educational segments will quickly help you up your scotch game.
Where We Meet
Marriott St. Louis West Hotel
When, Where & How Long? The club meets on a bi-monthly basis at the Marriott St. Louis West Hotel, 660 Maryville Centre Drive, St. Louis, MO 63141, and take place on Tuesdays starting at 6:30 pm and ending at approximately 8:30.
Free Parking. There is ample free parking on the Marriott Hotel's surface lots and coverd garage.
Restaurants. Many members dine before or after sessions. There is a restaurant at the Marriott, and numerous other dining choices close by.
A FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT
The cozy setting and excellent acoustics provide a pleasant environment, conducive to our multimedia presentations.
LOBBY WAITING AREA
Early arrivers can relax and mingle with fellow club members in the comfortable hotel lobby as the room is being set up.
RESTAURANT AND BAR
The hotel has a restaurant for those wanting to dine before sessions, and there are numerous dining choices close by.

HIGHLANDS & ISLANDS will feature a diverse bottle lineup showcasing some of the flavors of these important regions.
FLAVORS will offer distinctly different flavor profiles; expect descriptions such as fruit, smoke, dessert wines, maritime, and peat.
CLASSICS will revisit some of the most popular and important brands the club has sampled through the past 16 years.
NOW, THAT'S INTERESTING will feature bottles we found for some reason to be noteworthy, interesting — or just plain fun.
BATTLE OF THE BOTTLES will pit single malts and blends in a head-to-head contest to see which we like best.
PLUS INCORPORATED INTO EACH SESSION: 3 MINUTES OR LESS…
Each club session will include segments relating to some fascinating whisky-related topics, explained in a very concise manner.

In addition to our regular season calendar of five tasting events, we'll also feature some special Bonus Sessions. These limited-seating events are very popular and have been sold-out every year.

Our most popular event of the year! We'll once again team up with Bijoux Handcrafted Chocolates for this delicious special tasting. You'll enjoy a carefully-curated six bottle lineup designed to perfectly complement a different exotic Bijoux bon-bon.
THE SMOKIEST EVENT OF THE YEAR!
A sold-out event every year since 2010! If you can't get enough of the rich, earthy flavor of peated scotch, this is the session you won't want to miss. We'll feature a specially-selected six bottle line up of heavily-peated whiskies sure to tantalize your taste buds.
